Red Panda

Good news folks: Ling Ling the red panda's new partner has recently arrived at Birmingham Nature Centre. I'm glad to say that the two are getting along like old buddies. Both love a fresh bamboo snack for lunch. The photo is of Ling Ling -- Amba's to follow when she stays still long enough to snap.

Blackbrook Zoo

Had a wonderful day with my great friends Jan and Peter, and a visit to Blackbrook Zoological Park. Saw dozens and dozens of our avian friends and a few mammals -- lemurs, warthogs and the ubiquitous meerkats.
